The President and CEO of Tomorrow’s Promise Today (TPT) brings extensive experience in education, administration, and curriculum implementation. Driven by a passion for supporting urban learners, he designed an effective program specifically to close the academic skill gaps often found in urban learning systems.
Mike’s extensive experience and Master’s degree in Secondary Education Administration from Kansas State University demonstrate his deep passion and expertise in empowering students to achieve their highest academic potential. His vision and the organization’s flexibility allow each site to be customized based on students' and schools' specific academic needs. This approach is designed to inspire students and enhance the teaching and learning styles currently utilized by district teachers.

This vision, built on ten years of successful leadership at the elite academic company Tomorrow’s Promise Today, led to the creation of his newest community-based organization, Today Promises Tomorrow.

Marion Marshall serves as the Executive Director of Today Promises Tomorrow, leading the organization with a powerful blend of educational expertise, community leadership, and a deep belief in the potential of every child. With a career rooted in teaching and youth development, Marion brings years of classroom experience and a firsthand understanding of the academic, social, and emotional needs of students and families. Her leadership reflects a simple but profound conviction: when we invest in students today, we change the future for generations.

​Marion holds degrees in Early Childhood Education and Criminology, a combination that shapes her holistic approach to strengthening families, expanding opportunity, and building safer, more connected communities. Her background in education leadership, community development, and nonprofit management has positioned her as a trusted voice in creating programs that uplift neighborhoods and remove barriers for young people.
​​A dedicated mentor, motivational speaker, and published author, Marion uses her platform to inspire, empower, and advocate for those who often go unheard. She is currently developing a mentorship program for young ladies — a space designed to cultivate confidence, leadership, and longterm success. This initiative reflects her lifelong commitment to guiding young women toward futures filled with promise.
